SUD-KIVU/ SÉCURITÉ : Naufrage sur le lac Kivu: Plusieurs personnes portées disparues
Nous venons de l’apprendre, une embarcation motorisée vient de chavirer au large du lac Kivu ce Mercredi 26 Janvier 2022 dans la soirée, faisant du coup plusieurs morts et plusieurs disparus. Information non encore confirmée par des sources officielles. Toutes fois, renseigne notre source, il s’agit d’une ambatcation motorisée qui transportait des personnes ainsi que des marchandises qui quittait Birava pour se rendre à Nkombo, une petite île proche d’Idjwi.
Selon des témoins qui étaient à bord des bateaux qui se rendaient à Goma, ils affirment avoir apperçu des personnes qui nageaient dans tous les sens criant au secours.
Appelée au secours au moment de l’accident, le Commandant de la police lacustre aurait déclaré n’avoir pas du carburant nécessaire pour engager des embarcations pour le secours.
