NORD-KIVU/ SÉCURITÉ : Pas de risque d’explosion sur le lac après la coulée des laves du volcan Nyiragongo (REMA)
Pas de risque imminent d’explosion de gaz à partir du Lac Kivu, renseignent les autorités rwandaises.
L’Autorité rwandaise de gestion de l’environnement (REMA) renseigne qu’aucun risque imminent d’explosion de gaz n’est attendu sur le lac Kivu suite à l’éruption du Nyiragongo.
Plusieurs prélèvements ont été faits et l’analyse des données recueillies du 22 au 27 Mai 2021 donne comme résultat: le lac continue d’être stable comme il l’a toujours été, la vie aquatique n’est pas menacée et la qualité de l’air est stable, d’après REMA.
Ainsi, les habitants de la Ville de Goma peuvent donc se calmer.
